Borehamwood Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in South Hertfordshire.
As part of a major investment programme in club facilities, WCJ Ltd were engaged to provide structural engineering consultancy services in respect of new changing and pitchside facilities.
Site investigations revealed that the proposed site for the new changing facilities comprised made ground. A piled foundation solution was therefore specified to ensure foundations load could be transferred to an adequate ground bearing strata.
