76 Dean Street London is a grade 2* listed historic building , of the Georgian era, which was the headquarters for a film company. On 12th July the building caught alight and as a consequence much of its historic fabric and structure was destroyed.
WCJ have initially been commissioned to carry out an urgent structural appraisal of the building with a view to advising on and implementing temporary stabilisation works.
Conservation of the damaged building, whilst interweaving a structural frame to restore the building to modern office standards, will then be undertaken whilst satisfying the demanding requirements of English Heritage, Westminster Council and adjoining owners surveyors and engineers.
