WCJ Ltd were engaged in this flagship sustainable housing project to provide 19 new residential units on a brownfield site for a Local Authority.
The project included a number of low carbon and sustainable technologies and techniques including photo voltaic cells for solar electricity generation and rainwater harvesting facilities to service non-potable processes.
A particularly high thermal efficiency of the building envelopes was achieved through the use of a 300mm wide cavity fully-filled with thermafleece insulation. |
