This low rise block of flats was severely damaged by fire which resulted in extensive damage to the roof, second floor and parts of the lower floors.
Already appointed under a term commission, WCJ Ltd were instructed to provide works supervision, design, project management, contract administration and CDM Coordinator services for the reinstatement project.
Partial demolition and site clearance required careful coordination to minimize the risk of damage elsewhere within the building. WCJ Ltd then worked closely with the client and contractor to enable a phased reoccupation of the building to ensure tenants could return to their homes as quickly as possible.
