At the time of instruction these public swimming baths had already been earmarked for redevelopment. However, serious defects had been found with the proprietary glazing system used as part of the external enevlope of the pool.

The pool had to remain in use in the short term and our client was faced with the problem of identifying a cost efficient method of maintaining the security of the glazing systems until new facilities were provided.

WCJ Ltd were appointed to undertake a detailed inspection of the glazing components and identify effective remedial works to ensure the building could be remain in use.
