Welcome

Wyatt Carruthers Jebb (WCJ) Ltd is a firm of consulting Civil & Structural engineers and Building Surveyors. This section is intended to help you gain maximum benefit from the services we offer.

Responsibility

All Directors of the Company are either Chartered Engineers or Chartered Surveyors. All commissions have a Director allocated to them with project support staff as necessary. In the first instance you should contact the project engineer / surveyor if you have any queries. Directors will make themselves available for consultation at any stage of the project.

Visiting

WCJ's comfortable, modern premises overlook Sandown park racecourse. Clients are welcome to visit and spacious meeting and conference facilities are available. On-site parking is provided. The nearest railway station is Esher which is served by the Waterloo to Portsmouth line. A map can be found in the section How to Find Us.

Conditions Of Engagement

Commissions are carried out under standard A.C.E. or R.I.C.S. appointment terms, or the company's own bespoke Conditions of Engagement to incorporate clients' requirements. In the early stages of a project the commission may be undertaken under a simple letter of instruction until the brief can be finalised.

Fees

Fees may be charged on a time or lump-sum basis or as a percentage of building costs, as appropriate. The fee invoicing plan and chargeable rates will be detailed on the Conditions of Engagement.

When telephoning the practice with a new enquiry please give a brief description of the problem and we will transfer you to the appropriate Engineer or Surveyor.
